Who is eligible for the ECG?
Anyone purchasing a new, eligible fully electric car in the UK is able to benefit from this new scheme, providing it meets the scheme's criteria. The discount is applied directly to your sale - you don't need to worry or apply separately.
Is the grant available for businesses and fleets?
Yes. Both private buyers and businesses can claim from the grant when purchasing qualifying cars. Fleet operators benefit in the same way as individual customers.
How long is the ECG available?
The UK's Electric Car Grant is available until 2029 - or until the £650 million pot finishes. It is best to take advantage whilst it is still available.
